Quercus bicolor

This medium-sized, deciduous tree has a rounded crown with a shorter trunk. Leaves are lobed, and dark green on top, but silvery underneath, hence the “bicolor” name. Male flowers appear as yellow-green catkins, females may appear green-red. Enjoyed by birds and mammals.
